GETTING FROM PORTLAND TO HOOD RIVER

If you're flying in, you’ll need to arrange transportation from Portland to Hood River in advance.

The Visit Hood River website has lots of resources on how to get to and around Hood River. Below are the best options:

  • Car Rental: Renting a car from Portland Airport is the simplest and most reliable way to get to Hood River and move around locally. It may also have the best cost-benefit.

If renting a car is not possible, there are a few other options to get to Hood River:

  • Lyft and Uber: Rides are available one way only from Portland to Hood River.

  • Hood River Taxi: The Hood River Taxi allows pre-scheduled rides to and from Portland Airport.

  • Greyhound Bus: Leaves from downtown Portland. Take the Max from Portland Airport to downtown.

GETTING AROUND WITHOUT A CAR
